I left lunch just in time to go to Banned Books and Novel ideas, where I came up with a thesis statement for my paper due on Thursday. After class, it was nap time, but I didn't take a nap. Instead, I decided to be productive and painted my nails, to which Karen later added a glitter coat.
Instead of going to the dining hall for dinner, as we usually do, we went to a "carnival" hosted in the Honors Quad, where it was advertised that there would be free food. Free food turned out to be popcorn and cotton candy, which I apparently took from a stranger, not someone working a booth- oops. I did get a free cup and an inflatable electric guitar, so I considered the event partially successful. Anyway, we ended up eating in the dining hall after all, as there wasn't any substantial food at the "carnival."
During lunch, Kristynn (for some weird reason) wanted to know everyone's highs and lows of the day. As it was only 12:30 when she asked, my highs and lows have changed.
Today's Highs and Lows
Previous High: Our cilantro is sprouting!
New High: I got to talk to Christina!!!
Low as of 12:30 and Now: Sara missed her class :(
Just kidding, my new low is that I didn't take a nap. I should have taken a nap. I was super, incredibly, hardly-functioning sleepy up until Christina called. Then I was pretty awake for a little while, but now I'm back to being tired, which I guess is kind of a good thing since it's nearly midnight.
On that note, goodnight everyone!
Nevermind, not goodnight... I just noticed this blog doesn't have any pictures, so I'm going to do some copying and pasting of pictures from Tumblr that relate to my goals and make this entry visually appealing. But first, Happy October!
Not actually from Tumblr, but Glinda, the Good Witch, is nice to everyone! I wanted to put Gina's picture here, but realized I didn't have a picture of us :( |
My future garden, not my future house |
Before I say goodnight, I just want to wish Sara (saralovesowls.blogspot.com) good luck on her fashion test. She's been studying so hard and I hope she does really well.
Innovative studying method- I was totally creeped out thinking she was staring at me, but as it turns out, she was just studying. |
