It's a Jungle Out There

I absolutely love the holidays, so I'm spending this week watching all of my favorite Halloween movies.  I've already finished Beetlejuice, Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman, and most of Monster Mash.

If you haven't watched the animated Monster Mash from 2000, you need to do so...unless you don't like animated, kids movies or Halloween.  But, if you do like animated kids movies, it's great.  I watched it as a kid and haven't been able to watch it again until last night, because it's only on VHS (and you know how that goes).  However, I found it on YouTube last night, and it's just as good as it used to be.  Here's the link.  You should watch it!

I can't share pictures yet, but I worked all last night decorating our hall for Halloween with Kristynn and some of the other girls on our wing.  It's jungle-themed and I think it looks spectacular, and I really hope it wins the contest!

Confession: I don't think I'm going to have time to train for the half-marathon :(  I don't necessarily mean that I don't have time, I'm too tired, I have homework, blah blah blah.  But, I have been a slacker, and I pretty much don't have enough weeks between today and the race to train properly- so next year, I guess.  However, I'm going to try to work in several 5Ks, starting with the Turkey Trot!
