How many days 'til Wednesday??????

Yesterday was a day of shopping, Tex-Mex and wonderful weather, spent in downtown Austin.  It started out with some undercooked waffles, but that's how I like them :)

I went shopping yesterday afternoon with Madlin, Elly and our friend, Anna.  We mostly window shopped up and down 2nd Street.  We all knew we needed to be saving money, so we figured we might as well look around in all of the stores we know we can't afford.  However, there was one store with a "Buy 2, Get 2 Free" sale on everything in the store, a deal which Madlin, Elly and me all took advantage of.  I got two new dresses and they each got one, but we got two of them for free because of the deal.

It was nearing dinnertime when we finished shopping and Madlin had been talking about this Tex-Mex place, Pelons, all day, so we decided to walk over to 8th and have dinner there.  According to Madlin, this place had the best queso.  She went on and on, raving about how delicious this queso was supposed to be.  And, she was right; it was pretty good.  I don't even like queso, but I really enjoyed it! Our food was really good, too, and the restaurant, itself, was really neat.

Best of all, the weather was fantastic!  It was a little hot in the afternoon, but the front that came in could be felt as soon as we walked out Urban Outfitters!  It was so breezy!  It was so nice that we decided to test out our dorm's sun deck, where the heat is usually unbearable.  With the front, however, it was really nice and played Parcheesi and introduced each other to new music.  The sun deck closes at 10:00, so when we finished our game of Parcheesi, we went back to my dorm to play Taboo.

There is one more thing left to mention..........I have, after years of searching, found someone who prefers Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) to Nate (Chace Crawford)!  Madlin also shares my love for Ed Westwick and I couldn't be more happy :)  We have even decided to have "Ed Westwick Wednesdays!"  Every Wednesday, we are going to share our favorite pics of Ed!  So how many days unitl Wednesday??

I'm really glad I had Madlin, Elly and Anna to spend time with yesterday, because I love 'em.  I'm going to try to be productive today, and it's working so far.  Also, the rest of my friends should be back!
